Hainaveld Copper-Silver Project

A Cu-Ag redox interface confirmed by borehole Z6756, 40 km from Khoemacau.

Project overview

Central Kalahari Copper Belt

PL 0332/2025 is a 220.15 km² project in the Central Kalahari Copper Belt near Maun, approximately 40 km from MMG's Khoemacau Copper Mine, extending Falcon's copper exploration footprint.

Regional geology is anchored by borehole Z6756, which confirms a Cu-Ag redox interface on the licence. Planned geochemistry and geophysics will guide staged reconnaissance drilling.

Geology

Geological highlights: borehole Z6756

Depth (m) Lithology Stratigraphic correlate
0–14 Kalahari sand Surface cover
14–190 Black sandstone Ngwako Pan Formation
190–250 Red shale Lower D'Kar (oxidised)
250–343 Blue shale Upper D'Kar (reduced)
343–430 Basalt Kgwebe volcanics
430–455 Sandstone Basement footwall

Key implication: contact around 190 m, with a red–blue shale transition around 250 m. These are prime Cu-Ag traps.
