GOLD WITHIN REACH IN BOTSWANA: PL0121/2025 – A New Frontier Emerges

Falcon Metal Resources Botswana is advancing exploration on PL0121/2025, a strategically located license in Botswana’s Tati Greenstone Belt. Backed by regional geological continuity, structural complexity, and early-stage evidence of hydrothermal gold systems, this project is emerging as a flagship asset in Southern Africa’s evolving gold narrative.

1. Geological and Regional Context

PL0121/2025 lies along Botswana’s Tati Greenstone Belt—a southern extension of the prolific Zimbabwe Craton, which has yielded over 50 million ounces of gold. This corridor hosts classic Archean greenstone formations known for their potential to bear structurally controlled gold deposits. Sulphide-rich smoky quartz veins have been identified at surface, along a 3km prospective corridor, with artisanal workings confirming surface mineralization.

The project shares regional geological DNA with major gold-producing belts in Zimbabwe and Zambia, providing a compelling geological case for further investment and development. In contrast to Zimbabwe’s political risk and Zambia’s copper-centric focus, Botswana offers a stable and transparent environment for resource development.

2. Strategic Timing: Mupane Liquidation & PL0121’s Rise

With Mupane Gold Mine—Botswana’s historical gold producer—under liquidation, PL0121/2025 naturally rises as the next major gold asset in the country. Mupane’s peak grades exceeded 2.8 g/t Au and delivered over 850,000 ounces. Today, Falcon’s trenching, mapping, and structural interpretation suggest similar or better geological settings at PL0121.

Whoever revives Mupane will likely seek alignment with PL0121/2025 to prevent parallel competition or secure nearby growth. Falcon’s strategy is clear: we’re not selling a mine—we’re building one through operational partnerships, contract mining, and offtake agreements.

3. Why Gold, Why Now: A Global Market Perspective

Gold continues to assert its dominance as a strategic asset. In 2010, gold traded at approximately $1,421/oz. As of May 16, 2025, spot gold is priced at $3,206.77/oz, marking a 125% rise over 15 years.

Key factors driving this momentum include:
- Geopolitical instability and regional conflicts
- Central bank stockpiling from emerging economies
- Inflation and fiat currency uncertainty
- Increased technological and industrial applications

Analysts project gold may surpass $3,700/oz by 2026 and $5,000/oz by 2028. This positions gold as a premium safe-haven commodity and underlines the importance of developing gold assets in secure jurisdictions like Botswana.

Falcon Metal Resources’ PL0121/2025 offers the right geology, the right location, and the right timing. This is not a pitch—it’s a progress report.

4. Why Falcon’s Discovery Matters: A Gold Frontier for Botswana

PL0121/2025 is more than an exploration license—it is a gateway to Botswana’s next gold era.

Situated on a 10.36 km² greenfield license bordering the Mupane Gold Mine, this asset holds a 3 km prospective horizon that may represent a direct geological extension of Botswana’s most productive gold system to date. This is not theoretical—the greenstone belt continues uninterrupted from Zimbabwe through the Tati region, where Falcon is now confirming mineralized systems comparable to world-class Archean belts.

As gold prices rise and Botswana’s only historical producer exits, PL0121/2025 positions Falcon Metal Resources as a natural successor. With a transparent government, secure tenure, and a development-first approach, Botswana is ready for a new gold champion.

PL0121/2025 matters because it checks every strategic box: timing, geology, jurisdiction, and leadership. This is how frontiers are born—not through speculation, but through substance.

Full data packages and technical findings are available under NDA.

5. Our Findings: Gold Within Grasp in Botswana

Falcon Metal Resources has made a major breakthrough at PL0121/2025.

We’ve uncovered visible sulphides (pyrite) within smoky quartz veins—classic indicators of a mineralized hydrothermal system. This mineralization is hosted along a structurally rich contact zone between Archean Meta-Gabbro and Meta-Felsic Volcanics. This type of geological architecture is known globally as a gold-bearing environment and underpins world-class deposits across the Tati Belt, South Africa’s Barberton Greenstone Belt, and Australia’s Yilgarn Craton.

Our field team has also mapped artisanal workings within the license area, exposing sulphide-rich quartz veins at surface—providing strong early evidence of near-surface mineralization.

What’s Next:
- Detailed trenching and channel sampling
- IP geophysics to trace sulphide-rich zones at depth
- Drill target development and rig mobilization

PL0121/2025 is hot—and it’s lighting up the exploration radar. We are not chasing hype. We are following the rocks, and they’re pointing in the right direction.
